A day at Oakhaven

What a day here actually looks like

Breakfast being served in the dining room

Morning

Breakfast is served in the dining room starting at 7, and coffee is out in the bistro all day.

The fitness and physical therapy room

Midday

Therapy and fitness sessions run through the late morning, then lunch and time in the library.

The garden courtyard and walking path

Afternoon

The garden courtyard fills up for a walk, a card game, or a visit from family.

The bistro and coffee lounge in the evening

Evening

Dinner is in the dining room, then a quiet evening in the bistro or back in your own apartment.

Every time I visit, my mother is at a table full of people, not alone in her apartment. The nurses call me before I even have to ask.
